Scheme Objectives & Focus

Empowering Gram Panchayats with direct financial resources to implement local priorities formulated under Gram Panchayat Development Plans (GPDP).

Financial & Material Entitlements

Direct budgetary transfers to Gram Panchayat bank accounts: 50% Tied (Water & Sanitation) and 50% Untied (Basic Local Infrastructure).

Eligibility Criteria

  • •All 44 Gram Panchayats and East Siang Zilla Parishad with approved GPDPs uploaded on eGramSwaraj.

Mandatory Documents

  • ✓Gram Sabha Resolution approving GPDP
  • ✓Technical Sanction & Estimate by Panchayati Raj Engineering Wing
  • ✓Utilization Certificate (UC) for previous financial tranche

How to Apply

Gram Panchayats convene Gram Sabha meetings on National Panchayat Day / Gandhi Jayanti to formulate prioritized shelf of works.

Gram Sabha Ratification

As per Panchayati Raj norms, beneficiary selection is ratified in the general Gram Sabha meeting of the concerned Gram Panchayat.
